1. Bookings can be made by phone, e mail or through the website. Advance bookings only. Full payment will be due prior of arrival. Full payment will be taken on online bookings 14 days before arrival date. Cancellations before 14 days of arrival will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellation within 14 days of arrival date. Payments for phone or e mail bookings can be made by BACS or card. In general no refunds will be given within two weeks of arrival date but in exceptional circumstances alternative dates for camping will be considered.
Nightly bookings cancellation due to Covid: IF the campsite is open, no refunds will be issued, however we may consider offering alternative dates for re booking. If the campsite has to close we will offer full refunds.
2. All campers must book in at the farmhouse on arrival, from 12 noon, before entering the camping field.
3. All pitches must be vacated before 12 noon otherwise a further day's charge will be made. Anyone wishing to re book must do so before 12 noon.
4. Non electric pitches are not marked out, campers are allowed to choose their own space but consideration must be given to the privacy and space of neighbouring tents.
5. Gwerniago is a fully working farm, please be aware of farm vehicles and animals around the farm area. The farming area IS NOT accessible to the public. Parents and guardians are fully responsible for their children at all times whilst staying at the campsite and all children coming up to the farm/farmhouse must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Neither children nor adults should approach the farm dogs, they are working dogs and not pets.
6. No responsibility will be accepted by Gwerniago Camping Site or its employees for any items belonging to or rented by customers that are stolen or damaged whilst on site. Tents, gazebos etc must be securely pegged down at all times. Any damage caused to other properties e g the static caravans will be the responsibility of the tent/ gazebo user and that person will be liable for any damage caused. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover such eventualities.
7. The safety of the children playing on the rocky hill behind the shower and toilet block and on the campsite are the responsibility of the adults in charge of them. Children are only allowed to ride their bikes around the campsite.
8. We permit campfires and wood can be purchased on site. No wood must be taken from the surrounding woodland.
9. There are no laundrette facilities on site at present. A launderette is available in Machynlleth.
10. We welcome dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times and all dog fouling must be cleared immediately and deposited in the wheelie bin.
11. The volume of radios, CD players etc must be kept low at all times and especially after 11pm.
12. The flying of kites and other objects is strictly prohibited on site due to overhead electric power lines.
13. COVID 19, please observe social distancing rules, at this time, 2 meter apart. There is a one way system around the toilet block, enter by the cabin. Hand sanitisers are located near the bins, chemical disposal points and the toilet block. DO NOT travel if anyone in your family/group have any symptoms of the virus.
